Today is the day to start exercising. Why? Because EVERYONE benefits from exercise and the benefits listed below are hard to ignore.
We all know that exercise is one of the two keys to achieving weight loss. But did you know that exercise has so many more benefits in addition to weight loss? Below, I have listed 3 of the best reasons to exercise, that don’t pertain to weight loss. Take a look and see if any of them could help you to live a better life.
1. Stress becomes a thing of the past
If you are someone who is constantly bombarded with deadlines and is always rushing around from one thing to the next, exercise is for you my friend. Exercise has a common tendency to be the best way to relieve stress. It can be running, weight lifting, kickboxing, or even yoga. All of those are different types of exercise that can benefit you and your stress level. Instead of walking around like a giant ball of nerves, you will shortly transform into a much more laid back and easy going type of person that other people WANT to be around.
2. Happiness is a daily feeling
When people exercise, they release a natural chemical into their bodies called endorphins. These endorphins are what cause us to have that happy feeling all the time. The more you exercise, the more endorphins are released into your body. Maybe that’s why all of those fitness models and athletes smile so much…
3. You will sleep SO much better
People who don’t exercise, tend to lay awake at night getting little to no rest at all. Because of this, they don’t perform in their day to day lives at the same level of productivity as those who do exercise. Take the time to get in just a 30 minute, strenuous workout a day and you will be blown away at the difference in your sleep pattern. Instead of being awake each night with a million things running through your mind, body aches, migraines and all that tossing and turning, you will instead be sleeping soundly through the night. The next day when you wake up refreshed, you will feel motivated, driven, and ready to take on your day!
