What are the membership fees, and are there any additional charges?

Is there an initiation or enrollment fee?

Our enrollment and initiation fees often vary based on our current offers and membership types. We also recommend that interested members review our available promotions to see how they could affect their enrollment fee or membership rate. 

 

Do you offer any trial memberships or day passes?

If you’d like to give our gym a try, you can take advantage of our free 7-day pass to train at Gold’s Gym Hollywood before signing up for a membership.

 

What are the gym's hours of operation? 

Gold’s Gym Hollywood’s hours of operation can be found below:

  • Monday: 5:00 am - Midnight
  • Tuesday: 5:00 am - Midnight
  • Wednesday: 5:00 am - Midnight
  • Thursday: 5:00 am - Midnight
  • Friday: 5:00 am - Midnight
  • Saturday: 7:00 am - 7:00 pm
  • Sunday: 7:00 am - 7:00 pm

 

Can I work out at other gyms outside of the SoCal franchise?

When you have a membership that allows you to train at other Gold’s Gym locations, you can work out at them at no added cost. Members without other locations included in their membership plan can use our Travel Pass to train at other Gold’s Gym locations for up to 14 days within one calendar year without an additional fee. 

 

What types of classes are offered, and are they included in the membership fee?

If you love fitness classes, Gold’s Gym Hollywood has you covered. While most of our classes are covered by membership fees, some select group training classes have an extra fee. Our most popular fitness classes include BODYPUMP, Yoga, Pilates, Zumba, Strength Building, and P90X. Do I need to bring my own towel and lock for the lockers?

We’re happy to offer towel service at Gold’s Gym Hollywood, so you don’t need to bring your own towel. We also have daily lockers in our deluxe locker rooms that you can rent, but you should bring your own lock if you plan to rent a locker.

 

What types of machines and equipment are available?

Since we aim to give our members the exact fitness experience they need for their workouts, we have a large selection of exercise machines and equipment our members can use. Find out more about the main types of fitness equipment we offer below:

Do you have personal trainers? What are their rates?

What's the gym's policy on canceling or freezing memberships?

We do allow membership cancellations at Gold’s Gym Hollywood. If you’d like to cancel your membership, you must submit your cancelation request through email to hollywoodgm@goldsgymsocal.com. You should also know that cancellation fees may apply, and you must send your request 30 days before your billing date. If you’d only like to pause your membership, we do allow membership freezes. When you want to pause your membership, you’ll need to send us your freeze request to the email listed above.

 

Do you have a sauna, steam room, or swimming pool?

While we don’t have a swimming pool or sauna, we do have men's and women’s steam rooms. 

 

Are there age restrictions for gym membership?

You must be 13 years of age and older to receive a Gold’s Gym Hollywood membership. Children under 16 must also be accompanied by an adult at all times while in the gym.

 

What's the policy on guests or bringing a friend?

Members can bring friends or guests to Gold’s Gym Hollywood if their membership plan includes guests. If your membership doesn’t allow guests, you can potentially use a special promotion to bring guests, and when a promotion isn’t available, your guest can sign up for our free 7-day pass.

 

Do you offer childcare services or a kids' area?

Currently, we do not offer a kid’s area or childcare at this location.

 

Is parking available? Is it free?

Gold’s Gym Hollywood offers a complimentary two-hour parking lot and a parking garage with a validated ticket.

 

Can I transfer my membership to another location or person?

We’re happy to help members transfer their membership to other Gold’s Gym locations or another person. If you’d like to start a transfer, please talk to a staff member in person, email us at hollywoodgm@goldsgymsocal.com, or call us at (323) 462-7012.

 

Do you accept insurance programs?

We accept multiple insurance programs at Gold’s Gym Hollywood. The insurance programs we accept include Silver Sneakers, Silver and Fit, ClassPass, Peerfit, Tivity, Active and Fit, Prime, and HUSK.
