What are the membership fees, and are there any additional charges?

Our join fees vary based on the membership you choose and the current promotions we’re offering. Before you sign up for a membership, you’ll want to review our current offers to receive a great deal on your new membership.

 

Do you offer any trial memberships or day passes?

We currently offer a free seven-day pass that you can use to try our gym before signing up for a membership.

 

What are Gold’s Gym Goleta’s hours of operation? 

Gold’s Gym Goleta’s hours of operation for every day of the week can be found below: 

  • Monday: 5:00 am - 10:00 pm
  • Tuesday: 5:00 am - 10:00 pm
  • Wednesday: 5:00 am - 10:00 pm
  • Thursday: 5:00 am - 10:00 pm
  • Friday: 5:00 am - 10:00 pm
  • Saturday: 7:00 am - 7:00 pm
  • Sunday: 7:00 am - 7:00 pm

 

Can I work out at other Gold's Gym clubs?

Yes, if it is included in your membership. You can also use a Travel Pass which allows you to train in any Gold’s Gym for up to 14 days within one calendar year with no added fee.

 

What types of classes are offered, and are they included in the membership fee?

Fitness classes are included in your membership fee. Some of the most popular fitness classes offered at Gold’s Gym Goleta are Yoga and Pilates, and you can review our full class schedule here. Keep in mind that some small group training classes may have an additional fee.

 

Do I need to bring my own towel and lock for the lockers?

We offer free towel service at Gold’s Gym Goleta. We also have rental lockers for members, but members need to bring locks for them.

 

What types of machines and equipment are available?

Gold’s Gym Goleta offers several machines and equipment to ensure our members have plenty of options for their workouts. Review our selection of machines and equipment below:

Do you have personal trainers? What are their rates?

Yes! Our trainers are ready to help you reach whatever fitness goals you have. We have a variety of personal training packages to choose from. Please reach out to Gold’s Gym Goleta to inquire about rates.

 

What's the gym's policy on canceling or freezing memberships?

Cancellation requests must be submitted by email to sbgolgm@goldsgymsb.com. You must cancel 30 days prior to your billing date. Cancellation fees may apply. If you need to pause your account, we also allow freezes for memberships. 

 

Do you have a sauna, steam room, or swimming pool?

Gold’s Gym Goleta has a sauna but does not offer a swimming pool or steam room.

 

Are there age restrictions for gym membership?

At Gold’s Gym Goleta, you must be 13 years of age and older to be a member. Additionally, children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

 

What's the policy on guests or bringing a friend?

As long as guest passes are included in your membership or there’s a special promotion, you can bring a guest. If not, your guest can use our free 7-day pass.

 

Do you offer childcare services or a kids' area?

We don’t offer childcare or kid’s areas at this time.

 

Is parking available? Is it free?

Parking is available and free at Gold’s Gym Goleta. 

 

Can I transfer my membership to another location or person?

If you’d like to transfer your membership to another person or Gold’s Gym location, our team can help. Please call (805-964-0556) or email (sbgolgm@goldsgymsb.com) to discuss transferring your membership. 

 

Do you accept insurance programs?

We accept several different insurance programs. These insurance programs include Silver and Fit, Active and Fit, Silver Sneakers, Prime, Tivity, HUSK, ClassPass, and Peerfit.
