It all started with a big vision and even bigger passion. Joe Gold opened a small gym in Venice Beach in 1965. Gold's Gym is fast becoming the Mecca of the bodybuilding scene and home to legends like Arnold Schwarzenegger. The brand is developing into the best-known fitness brand in the world. In 2020, the RSG Group took over the fitness icon and has been offering franchising for the first time ever since.





Our gyms are built for our members to increase strength and performance. Our footprint model is meant to have the most amount of strength equipment per sq foot than any competitor in the area. We also know that strength and performance mean different things to different people. With that in mind each facility will host a Group Exercise room, Cardio area and optional small group training studio within our footprint.
