When people hear the word “cardio”, the majority of them run…er…walk, for the hills. That is often because people think that cardio is just all about running. Their brains immediately flash to misery and torture when they hear the “c” word.

Look, cardio doesn’t have to be all that bad! Here is a list of cardio variations that DON’T involve running for you to try:

  2. Kettlebell Swings***
  3. Biking
  4. Ellipticals (machine)
  5. Cycling/RIDE (class)
  6. Flights of Stairs
  7. Rowing (machine)
  8. In & Out Hops***
  9. Burpees
  10. Stair Master (machine)
  11. Box Jumps***
  12. Crazy 8’s
  13. Hop Scotch
  14. Alt. Jump Lunges
  15. X-Jumps***

I could keep going, but I’ll spare you! I seriously have a hard time believing that out of these 15 options, you won’t find one cardio exercise that you can start to enjoy. Who knows… You may end up loving them all at some point!
