Class Descriptions

 

Barre Conditioning: This class utilizes the ballet bar targeting your glutes, hamstrings, and quads to fatigue, using small isometric movements. You will sculpt and tone your entire body with the use of light weights. Lengthen and strengthen your body using excellent posture and complete core engagement.

Boot Camp Conditioning: A creative cardio & strength workout designed to challenge. Workout can include plyo moves, intervals, super-sets, and sports drills.

Boot Camp Cardio: A total cardio workout in which you will do traditional hi-lo, step, kickboxing and running outside

Circuit Training: A "get it all in" workout designed to keep your heart rate up while working all the muscles in your body

CORE: A toning class consisting of 30 minutes of abdominal and lower back work

Gentle Yoga I: If you have never done yoga in your life this is a good intro for you! Slower pace, but efficient

Gentle Yoga II: You can combo these two classes for an overall beginning to end experience, or you can join the second part and focus on technique

Kickin' Muscle: This workout combines cardio kickbox drills with compound muscle work

Kick Box: An amazing workout that will get your heart pumping. It combines boxing, pilates and dance.

Muscle Conditioning: Full body strength training class using weights or bands, as well as slow, controlled movements

Power Step: Simple choreography that includes muscle work, abs, and a good stretch

Spin: Cardio class using a stationary bike

Step/Conditioning: Step aerobics using a step platform..fun music and choreography. Followed by muscle conditioning exercises using hand weights, mat work for core, and a nice stretch.

Power Yoga: You will move through vigorous flow with the use of hand weights on some classic vinyasa yoga poses

Vinyasa Yoga Flow: Let your energy flow during this class based on the Sun Salutation (Surya Namaskar). Focus on your alignment and breathe through a series of standing and seated poses which incorporate balance and backbends

Yogalates: Focusing on the classic teachings of Joseph Pilates, this class will focus on core conditioning through the muscles of the trunk. Lengthen and strengthen your body through mindful awareness and breath control

Zumba: Fun cardio workout set to high energy Latin and international beats. Before you know it, you'll be getting fit and your energy levels will be soaring!
