Why did you sign up for the Gold’s Gym Challenge?
Jessica: I just had my third baby and got very sick with that pregnancy. My health was bad – very high blood pressure, blurred vision, and constant migraines. I wanted more from life and for my family.
What’s the best part of completing the Gold’s Gym Challenge?
Jessica: I felt like I could do anything. I have never done anything like this before and I wanted to see what else I could do that I wasn’t able to do before.
What would you tell someone if they asked you why you should join the Gold’s Gym Challenge?
Jessica: I would say why not? What do you have to lose? You can only gain from this experience.
What is your gym mantra?
Jessica: I wanted a better life. I didn’t want to be in pain anymore. I wanted to feel good about my body.
Favorite thing to do at the gym?
Jessica: I love lifting weights and the classes are the best.
Best fitness (motivational) tip you received?
Jessica: What kept me going was having others notice my body was changing and feeling the health benefits.
Jessica: I love making homemade turkey meatballs with veggie pasta.

Jessica: I am a mother of three and used to foster teenagers.
