Gold’s Gym Gives Fitbit Devices A Workout And Coaching Boost

DALLAS (Sept. 24, 2019) – GOLD’S AMP™, the digital personal training app powered by Gold’s Gym, has officially launched an exclusive version of the popular coaching app designed for the Fitbit Versa, Fitbit Versa Lite and Fitbit Ionic smartwatches – the global wearable brand’s first gym partnership.

The GOLD’S AMP™ for Fitbit addition to the Fitbit App Gallery provides users with more enhanced tools and experiences to help maximize their health and fitness as well as achieve their personal goals.

GOLD’S AMP™ for Fitbit is a free experience developed exclusively for Fitbit Versa, Fitbit Versa Lite and Fitbit Ionic smartwatch users, who can leave their phones behind and select GOLD’S AMP™ for Fitbit from the device’s app screen. They can then choose from a curated selection of workouts across four popular categories: Bodyweight, Treadmill, Stair Climber and Core.

Each category offers a high, medium and low intensity workout specially designed for Fitbit smartwatches by expert Gold’s Gym coaches. After the user makes their selection, they will be able to scroll through the complete details of each exercise and receive guidance through every step of their workout including visual instruction from coaches, a countdown timer and interval cues with vibrating alerts. After completing each workout, users get results including calories burned, heartrate, number of steps and time. An extended trial of 14 free days of the full version of GOLD’S AMP™ will also be available to users who want to take their workouts to the next level with additional audio and video coaching as well as a custom BPM-enhanced music library.

The full version of GOLD’S AMP™, launched in 2017, features hundreds of in-gym and outdoor audio and video workouts created and delivered by expert Gold’s Gym coaches, along with thousands of commercial-free curated DJ mixes to provide motivating, results-driven workouts on demand.
