Samantha Hirata began her journey with health and fitness in 2010. Having struggled with incessant weight gain throughout childhood and adolescence Sam decided to take control of her health. With hard work and dedication to her newly obtained goals, she coupled a clean, balanced diet with newly found interests to include hiking, spinning, HIIT training, and weight lifting and was able to lose 75 pounds!! As an advocate for a healthy lifestyle Samantha became enthusiastic about helping others achieve wellness success. Shortly after accomplishing her personal weight loss goals she decided to pursue a degree in Exercise Science from the American Public University, from which she will be graduating in 2015. Realizing that every body, every goal, and every approach is different, Sam has begun studying to become a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Nutrition. With personal experience and devotion to her clients’ fitness goals Samantha looks forward to aiding others in their journey towards a healthier life.
