From a young age Jillian Herring was involved in sports and fitness and has participated in adrenaline-rushing activities such as off-road biking, snowboarding, and obstacle course races for most of her adult life. Jillian began her journey as a fitness professional upon landing a position at a health center in 2004, where she quickly developed a passion for teaching group fitness. In 2005, she received an Associate in Applied Science degree and began her journey into personal training. With over eight years of training experience, Jillian has studied personal training programs from the American Council on Education and is currently devoting her continuing education hours toward a certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Having trained at Gold’s Gym Winchester for over five years, Jillian continues pursuing her professional mission to motivate and encourage her clients to reach their fitness goals, while raising community awareness on the importance of physical fitness. Catering to her clients’ current fitness levels and goals, she generates personalized programs highlighting variations of muscle strengthening, cardiovascular conditioning, total-body/functional movements, core conditioning and stability, as well as sports training for improved speed and agility training.
