Through quick intensity bursts of energy followed by short recovery phases you will experience an excessive calorie burn. This type of training gets your heart rate elevated and burns fat in a smaller time period. Your body’s need for oxygen is increased during the effort phase, therefore, creates an oxygen shortage causing your body to require more during recovery.
