Watermelon is the power fruit of summer! Not only does watermelon taste flat out amazing, it is flat out amazing FOR you! You know how I’ve harped on throwing out those Gatorades, Powerades and other sugar filled sports drinks? I do this because they are the equivalent of drinking a soda. Well, the most common defense I get to that demand is normally, “But it’s filled with electrolytes and potassium. Don’t I need that stuff?”
