Name: Kimberly Damron
Background: I’ve worked with a variety of individuals and families on mental health issues in private practice as a licensed professional therapist. When my son was born, I wanted to take time off to spend with him and focus on getting back into shape. Considering that I’ve been a lifelong athlete and health enthusiast, it was natural for me to combine my passions for mental health and fitness by becoming a Personal Fitness Trainer. I have found great joy in accompanying individuals on their journey to self-discovery, healing, and wellness. I especially enjoy helping women who are pregnant, have just given birth, or who are struggling to get their pre-pregnancy bodies back. It is tough to juggle children, career, family matters and to find time for oneself in the process. I see personal health and fitness as a necessity to being the best mother, wife, or person one can be. I enjoy helping others find ways to create that magical balance in their lives.
Certifications: Personal Fitness Trainer/American Association of Fitness Professionals and Tabata Bootcamp Instructor.
Fitness Philosophy: A healthy, balanced life leads to a long and happy life.
What Drew You to the Fitness World: I have always enjoyed athletics and staying fit throughout my lifetime.
What is Your Favorite Thing about Gold’s Gym: We are always striving to bring innovative fitness opportunities to our clients.
Favorite Client Story: I started working with a woman on getting her pre-baby body back. We had completed one session before she came in for her second session to say she had a change in plans. She had just found out she was pregnant with her second child. We worked together throughout her entire pregnancy and after.
Training Specialties: I specialize in working with pregnancy (during and after), middle aged women’s issues and sports related fitness.
