If you’re new to something, it’s natural to have lots of questions. We’re here to help. We’ve answered ten of the most commonly asked questions to help you feel confident and navigate the gym with ease.
How much does it cost to sign up?
We offer membership packages to match every budget. All of our packages are month-to-month. Typically you will pay a low enrollment fee when signing up. You also have the option of paying for several months’ membership upfront. Simply set up an appointment with one of our fitness consultants to get all the information you need.
Do I have access to all Gold’s Gym locations?
We have two convenient locations in Tallahassee: University and North. As a Gold’s Gym member you gain access to over 700 locations annually, for up to two weeks, with our “Travel Pass.”
Where and how do I check in?
You will check in at the front desk by scanning your key fob.
Do I need to bring a towel?
Yes. We require that you use a towel on the workout floor. If you didn’t bring one, we sell them for only $1.
Where are the locker rooms?
This differs for each club. Feel free to ask a staff member to point you in the right direction.
Can I bring a friend to work out with me?
Yes! A workout buddy helps keep you on track and keeps you motivated. We offer memberships that allow you to bring a friend every time you work out. All that your friend/guest needs to bring is a local driver’s license or identification card. He/she must be over the age of 18 to workout.
When is the gym open?
Our facilities are open 364 days a year to ensure a workout when it’s convenient for you. Specific hours by location are as follows: University Pensacola St. Location Hours: Mon-Thurs 5am-12am Fri 5am-9pm Sat/Sun 9am-7pm. North Capital Circle Location Hours: Mon-Thurs 5am-10pm Fri 5am-9pm Sat 7am-5pm Sun 12pm-5pm
Do you have personal trainers?
Yes, we have personal trainers available at every location. Not sure it’s right for you? Try a free personal training session…on us! Call or stop by your local club to set up an appointment. How much time will I need to work out?
We have worked out plans to fit your schedule. Training sessions start in 30-minute increments.
Can I check out equipment, such as medicine balls or jump ropes?
Yes. Just stop by the front desk and a staff member will assist you.
