Jake Sinovich was born and raised here in Maryland Heights and attended school at Pattonville. He was a multi-sport athlete through most of his life until college where he received a full scholarship to play baseball. He spent two years at Southwestern Illinois College (SWIC) and later transferred to the University of Missouri St. Louis. It was around that time where he suffered a career ending injury that sparked his interest in health and fitness. Over the past four years while working in the sports supplement industry, he became a AED/CPR & National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) certified personal trainer.
“I am a big believer in weight training no matter what your goal may be. Placing stress on the body using weight resistance will only give your body one option, adapt. Previously working for Supplement Superstores, I have given myself the edge to give any client more knowledge on what they put into their body along with helping them design an effective workout program.
I feel that the fitness industry can not only improve an individual’s physical health, but also their mental state of mind. That is the beauty of an active lifestyle. When you walk through the gym doors, it’s you vs. you. Your focus is to be better than you were yesterday. As a trainer, I take pride in pushing my clients past any physical and mental limitations to be successful.
Enjoying the process is also a big part of staying committed and consistent so I always like to remind people of that who may be losing faith in what they’re striving for. Have fun with what you’re doing! Whether your goal is to gain size, strength, or lose weight, I am dedicated to get you where you want to be!”
