Our Dry Sauna and Steam Room make for an amazing pre-workout warm up, or post workout reward. The Dry Sauna reaches temperatures over 100°C. These extreme temperatures cause the body to sweat more and the heart rate to rise significantly while still being safe. This reaction then causes the metabolic levels to work harder ultimately promoting more weight loss. The Steam Room is also a great way to relax while your lungs and sinuses are cleared for you. The humidity levels in the air of the steam room will help keep your skin supple and hydrated. Humidity levels are normally kept very high in steam rooms (near 100%) Because of the high humidity levels the steam room will not increase temperatures hotter than 43°C (110°F). Be sure to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water and taking breaks between sessions. 15-20 minutes of daily sauna/steam room sittings are a healthy way to relax while your body heat sweats off the calories.
