This 90 minute class will combine two styles of yoga: Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra.
Yin Yoga is a slower style of yoga focused on improving flexibility and and circulation through the joints and connective tissues. Poses are mostly done from a seated or supine position and are held for 3-5 minutes at a time.
Yoga Nidra or “Sleep Yoga” is a guided relaxation practice that incorporates breath work and visualization exercises to relax the body and the mind. Benefits of a Yoga Nidra practice include: decreased stress, improved sleep, breath awareness, and improved focus.
The class will consist of a 20 minute warm-up, 45 minute Yin series, and a 20 minute Yoga Nidra session.

The class will be taught as a six-class series split into three week sessions:
Session 1: February 17, and 24
Session 2: March 10, 17, 24 and 31
