My name is Mary Aardal. I am a personal trainer at Gold’s Gym Richland. I am a registered dietitian with my Masters degree and a NASM certified personal trainer. From a young age, I remember having an interest in how exercise and diet affect the body. I have always been a very active person and have enjoyed all kinds of sports, marathons, triathalons, or just exercising because it’s fun and makes me feel good.
As a mother of five kids, ranging in age from five to eleven years old, I am busy keeping up with their schedules and activities. But I find it very important to model for them a healthy lifestyle. I make a point, no matter how busy we are, to fit in exercise every day as well as to eat healthy meals together as a family.
Besides a dietitian and NASM personal trainer, I am also an expert in the pool. I have been a water aerobics instructor here since this facility opened. But I also offer my clients the option to train in the water. I have twenty years experience teaching all aspects of swimming. Whether you are rehabilitating an injury, want to learn how to swim better, or are training for a triathalon, I can help you in the pool.
As a trainer, I offer individual or group training. I am excited to help you devise a meal and exercise plan that will work for you individually. Exercise and good nutrition go hand in hand to help people achieve their health and fitness goals and I am excited to help you reach your goals!
