Upon relocating to Port St. Lucie from South Florida, in 2009, I obtained an AFAA Group Fitness Instructor certification, I’ve taught Bootcamp, Kickbox, Aerobics and Senior Fitness and have worked at Gold’s Gym since 2014. In 2015, I obtained a Tele-Exercise Resistance Training Certification. I’m currently a primary instructor for the Sports Conditioning Classes, and recently began new ‘Body Challenge’ classes, with a goal to maximize results for every fitness level. I enjoy staying informed on current info in relation to wellness, dynamic exercises and healthy nutrition. Sharing what I learn using passion and encouragement to others on their journey to optimal wellness is a huge part of why I do what I do.
I love the kindness of the staff and the commitment of management to employees. My employer and clients make all the difference in understanding the saying, “once you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life.” I am energized every time I see classes fill with dedicated members who bring enthusiasm and overcome struggles with a team attitude. Staying active has been a part of my life since starting dance at age 4, continuing later through my adolescence through competitive swimming and synchronized swimming. I currently teach a variety of dance classes for children age 2-18 and have served as a supporting member of my local church in various areas since 2008.
I won the Miss Broward County Fair Beauty Pageant in 1999.
