“I have been a member with Golds off and on for about seven years. I rejoined in December with a great plan that works really well for me. In addition, I also have a Personal Trainer Rian I have been working with and I have seen progress which is important to me as in addition, I had an AC injury in which I was receiving medical attention and not making progress. It has taken several months to get probably about 85% of arm, but I am getting there through knowledgeable assistance and great total training. Rian Tassi is very professional and very knowledgeable in Personal Fitness Training. As a senior citizen, I am very pleased to work with such a personable young lady that I feel good about workouts and enjoy my sessions.

“As an athlete, I was “set in my ways” with a homebrew of 10 years of strength and conditioning training. I had experienced plateaus in my gym routine, and I couldn’t motivate myself to get past them. While I considered myself in shape, I still wanted to take my physique to the next level. John, a personal trainer at the Porter’s Neck Gold’s Gym has given me that next level. He constantly challenges me. Importantly, John spent time to understand how best to push me and explain the exercises in a way I understand. His mix of compound workouts and concentration exercises, coupled with proper spotting, has made for visible gains for the year I have been training with him. I owe a season without injury to his dedication to personal safety and form instead of pushing max weight. He took a concerted approach to find my weak areas and turn them into my strengths.
