I am the “short, cute” girl from New Orleans. I’ve lived here in MD for the last 12 years, with my husband and 4 children. I love to hang with my “MD” family when I can, whether that is inside or outside the gym.
I come alive when the music comes on..no matter the class. I’m usually the quiet one entering the room, but the music transforms me into my “alter ego”, no matter the format. I can change from quiet to chatty in Sh’bam or nice to militant in GRIT! I love having all the different formats that allow me to channel different parts of my personality.
My husband and 4 kids are my EVERYTHING! God is the HEAD of my life, and HE has surrounded me with loving and compassionate friends and family. He allows me to do what I do, and that is to make people feel better about themselves.

What led you to group fitness? Honestly, it was selfish at first. I wanted to hold myself accountable for working out. Just happens, that I trained in a format that always let me, be me! So then, it became about making people smile while they workout! If you’re smiling, it’s more than a workout; it’s a boost in your confidence, your self esteem, and it just feels good!
How do you spend your time outside of the gym? I spend quality time with family.
Some advice for our GGX class members: 1. Let us know when you’re new to class. It helps with our coaching and we LOVE meeting new people. 2. We work really hard outside class to provide you with an experience when you come to the gym, so your feedback and suggestions are always welcome!!
