Kris is originally from Washington DC and starting teaching Step and Hi Impact Aerobics in the 90’s. As marathon runner and tri-athlete, teaching Cycling became a natural passion. She started spinning with Johnny G’s original classes – where you started each class taking the seat out of the bike! A transition in her life took her onto Motor Yachts – where she found challenging ways to workout (swimming around the boat several times while anchored out, jump roping on the fly bridge, teaching the owners/guests yoga), and also where she met her Australian husband.
Kris and her husband have just recently returned from Australia and have two active kids (3 and 9). In addition to teaching in Australia, she was an active member and volunteer coach for Team Trex Training – a triathlon group for kids and adults as well. Her Certifications include Madd Dogg Spinning, ASFA Group Fitness, and currently working on Level 1 Coaching for Swim and Track and Field. She is also hoping to add Yoga certifications in the next year!
