Growing up in California allowed me to enjoy la lot of outdoor recreation: surfing, tennis, running and hiking. I graduated from Pepperdine University with a BA in Broadcast Journalism and BS in Political Science.
It was after suffering from tennis elbow several years ago, that I was motivated to discover how it happened and how to prevent it. Studying anatomy and biomechanics gave me some insight. So, I turned to personal training for fun as well as a new career. In 2006 I became a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Then in 2008 I studied for and earned my Corrective Exercise Specialist certification. I obtained a certification as a Fitness Nutrition Specialistand am a Bio Mechanics Specialist. I still play tennis, cycle the back roads of Edmond, garden and love to cook.
