My name is Ryan Gentry. A couple things about myself, I come from a pretty big family and my dad and I are out numbered 8 to 2. My sisters consider me a momma’s boy because I’m the youngest. I lived in Utah my entire life. Besides the Utah drivers, I love everything about it. Joking aside, I decided to become a personal trainer because I love to witness people achieve their goals and to see the change that occurs mentally and physically through fitness and exercise. When I was in high school playing on the football team I had injured my leg. My doctor told me that I would be to put any weight on it for 3 month. That was a big shock to my system. All of my routines and schedules were thrown out the window. My physical therapist gave me some of the best advice that I’ve ever received. “For your leg to become healthy again, don’t rush, things take time.” That’s what it comes down to with everything; you can’t expect things to be instantaneous. To improve yourself mentally and physically it just takes time. The effort you put in will effect the time. So as long as you continue to push yourself, you’ll achieve that goal of eating healthier or losing those couple pounds or running that marathon you’ve always wanted to do. Just strive to be better and in all honesty, time is all it takes.
