Something new is coming to Gold’s Gym in Norton! One of the top fitness trends you may have heard about are Barre workouts. They are designed to help an individual achieve a strong, sleek, and streamlined body.
Barre group training classes will incorporate exercises done at a ballet barre combined with elements of ballet, Pilates, and yoga. Barre exercises rely mainly upon body weight for resistance, and the moves challenge your core stability and balance.
Exercises will focus on isometric training, combined with high reps of small range of motion movements. Barre Group Exercise Classes may incorporate various fitness accessories to challenge your body in different ways, as well as mats for targeted core work.
At Gold’s Gym Norton, these private group training sessions are appropriate for a variety of fitness levels and body types. Our qualified Barre instructors Gail, Tracy and Lynda are able to properly teach a multi-level class and provide modifications for beginners, as well as advanced progressions when necessary.
