“I have a B.S. in Rehabilitation Education from Penn State and earned my W.I.T.S. Personal Trainer certification through Blue Ridge CTC.
I held many different positions in healthcare, starting as a junior aide in a nursing home at age 12 and ending as an Internal Medicine practice manager for 20 years.
A classically trained dancer, I studied Checchetti, Vagonova and Royal Academy of Dance techniques, as well as jazz and Pilates. I have been teaching for 15 years and have completed 80 hours of Royal Academy teacher training.
My philosophy: To never stop learning how to help my clients and students improve.
In my life I have held many different positions in the healthcare field, starting at age 12 at Negley House (a nursing home), then Presbyterian University (of Pittsburgh Medical Center) Hospital, The Childrens’ Rehabilitation Institute of Pittsburgh, United Cerebral Palsy and ending as an Internal Medicine practice manager for 20 years.” -Mary Ann
