I have been personal training for 11 years and have worked with a variety of clientele to improve levels of fitness and health. I have also provided corporate training and educational workshops on health and fitness. My inspiration for training stemmed from own battle and ultimate victory over eating disorders, obesity, organ failure, and emotional instability. My desire is to help my clients achieve a balance lifestyle that encompasses all dimensions of health and wellness by creating a training environment that not only motivates, but also supports and empowers individuals to believe in the change that they desire to see within themselves. Desiring to motivate, coach, support, inspire and instill the importance of physical and emotional balance and health to my clients is what I strive for.
My specialties include muscular strength and toning, core stability, endurance, flexibility, and stamina while using a personalized approach to each individual. My vision is to bridge the gap between the medical, health and fitness professions to provide the ultimate experience in lifestyle management and well-being. My goal is to convince YOU that if you put your mind to it, you can achieve a higher level of fitness and improved quality of life.
I earned her Associates Degree in Human Services from the Harrisburg Area Community College. From there, I continued my undergraduate degree at Wilson College, majoring in Sociology/Political Science. I am certified as a Professional Fitness Trainer through International Sports and Sciences Association. I also hold a certification in group and circuit training, Sports Yoga instructor and BOSU trainer, through the National Endurance Sports Trainers Association “NESTA”. I have also been certified as a Lifestyle & Weight Management Specialist through NESTA, and hold a certification in Sports Nutrition through DSW Fitness. Lastly, I am First Aid & CPR certified trough the American Red Cross.
