Yin Yoga is a deep indulgent stretch which rehabilitates the connective tissue and fascia that forms our joints. A deep Yin practice has the capability to aid our joints to be more flexible. Yin yoga increases circulation within the body and opens otherwise tight and restricted areas. Each posture is held for about 3-5 minutes with emphasis on relieving tightness, stress, and congestion while gently stimulating the flow of energy through the meridians of the connective tissue and connecting you deeper with your breath and body. Yin yoga is appropriate for all levels, by learning how to slow down we create the opportunity for deep connection with ourselves and our bodies.
