Hi I’m Stacie. As a child growing up I had been extremely overweight the majority of my life. As a teenager I found my love for the gym and would even bicycle 14 miles round trip to go to Golds Gym every day. In my late teens I started playing rugby for UtahValleyUniversity while in high school and played for a women’s rugby club while living in Connecticut. Before pregnancy with my son while playing rugby I suffered an injury to my spine that made an active pregnancy no longer an option for me. As a result of being sick and inactive through my pregnancy it made me dangerously obese with pre-hypertension, pre-diabetes and isolating social physique anxiety. I knew it was completely my choice of which lifestyle changes I had to make, so my doctor referred me to a dietitian and I started working out in the gym and eating right. Today because of those choices I am healthy and excited about life. I became a trainer because of my desire and passion in helping people live their lives to the fullest and reach their greatest potential.
