Hot yoga practice has many benefits. It stimulates the cardiovascular system, stimulates calorie burn, and reduces stress while it improves strength and flexibility. The average class burns 500-800 calories. This class is designed around a series of postures that range from moderate to vigorous. Hot yoga can enhance overall health and can stimulate the organs, glands, and nervous system as well as increase mental clarity. Due to the heat, please consult with your healthcare provider. This class is not recommended for students with serious illnesses, high blood pressure, epilepsy, pregnancy and/or heart conditions.
