I had heard and read about Reflexology and how each pressure point related to specific areas of the body.  I finally decided to give it a try with Terry.  Terry was very informative throughout the process, answered any questions that I had regarding specific areas and what it related to. I have to say it felt wonderful and my hands and feet felt great!   At the first session she mentioned that my metabolism was slow.  As I have had thyroid issues for years, I told her this and that I had a doctors appointment the following week for a check. I had blood work done for the thyroid and, it was low!  I was amazed that Terry could tell there was a problem just from the reflexology!   The second time I saw Terry, she mentioned that something was going on with my bladder and asked if I had any problems.   I hadn't had any trouble, but went to the doctor for a check-up, mentioned this to my physician and with testing, found I had a bladder infection.   I was absolutely amazed again!   Now that I realize how much reflexology can tell you about the body as a whole, I will be doing this periodically.   It does help me feel relaxed and stress free, but now I also have the confidence that if there is something going on with my body, she may be able to notice it and as long as I pay attention to her findings, prevent a serious problem.   I will definitely be doing Reflexology again and now believe I can keep my body better maintained!   It is well worth it and I recommend it to everyone!

I have been one of Rain's clients for over five years, during which time she has helped me recover from two back surgeries and a knee surgery. Pleasant and highly professional, Rain combines superior anatomical knowledge with detailed client notes, permitting her to engage in a course of therapy that is preventive as well as curative. At age 58, weekly massage therapy not only enables me to continue engaging in light construction projects -- as well as playing tennis and golf -- massage is a significant component of my stress management program. I would unreservedly recommend Rain to anyone considering integrating massage therapy into a physical fitness regimen.

Massage…the personal touch and miracle cure!

I have been an avid athlete my entire life. Unfortunately I looked fit, but I was exercising all wrong. I was over training, under resting, not eating effectively, and setting myself up for a figurative “train wreck” (as my doctors would explain). Due to this improper training I have had 7 surgeries with 13 screws placed in my body in efforts to put “humpty dumpty back together again”. The scar tissue coupled with fibromyalgia (I still struggle with the reality of that diagnosis) imprisoned me with chronic and continual pain. Sleepless nights due to the pain created cranky days. Not to be a whiner or anything, but the realities of living the next 40 – 50 years like this was not something I looked forward to. However a friend recommended that I start working with Rain to “just see what happens”. I started working with Rain approximately 2 years ago. To be honest I went in somewhat hesitantly. When we started I had just had my last surgery. This ACL reconstruction was my third surgery in a year. My body and spirit were completely beaten up. My knee was stuck bent at about 45o angle, and the doctors didn’t believe it would straighten out much more than that (never mind the idea of walking without a limp or ever being able to ride my bike again).

Rain, as tiny as she is, is incredible powerful at her job as a massage therapist. Rain works on me 1-2x a week. She innately knows how much I can handle, how deep to go, and when to back off. She knows when I need her to break up the scar tissue and then she plays “nice nice” to make the discomfort go away. The nature of the work that I personally need (breaking up of scar tissue and correcting structural imbalances) can be extremely intense. However, I am so shocked each time at how completely relaxed I am by the end of each session. I have seen an increase in my overall energy level and sleep has come much easier too.

Due to her care I have not only gotten full range of motion with my leg I actually rode a 100 miles on my bike 9 months after my last surgery!! As I crossed the finish line tears were pouring out of my eyes (not very wise). I was back. I was me again!!!!

I keep telling her that she has been a gift to me, a blessing sent by God to heal me. I say that with all sincerity. I regard her so highly that I refer all of my clients to her with the utmost confidence that they will receive incredible care with an ethical approach.

Rain, you are a God send to my life! Thank you for making me whole again. Thank you for allowing me to be me again!
