Ishan WijetillekeCertified Personal TrainerNPTI-CPTI have been training myself and clients for years and have been a trainer at Golds Gym since January 2009. I played varsity lacrosse and was a captain of the football team at The Potomac School. Fresh out of high school I climbed Mt. Washington in sub-zero conditions, have lived above 10,000 feet in the Colorado Rockies and at one point was the director of a mountain biking program at an adventure camp. I have completed a semester in Alaska with NOLS and have been certified a wilderness first responder. I have a passion for being physical and helping others achieve their fitness goals and have brought my passion for pushing it in the elements, into the gym. Currently, I love to ride my mountain bike and participate in races, for fun. I am a graduate of The American University, where I received a BS in Anthropology. I received my personal training certificate through the National Personal Trainers Institute. I love to learn about new and innovative exercises and concepts, while never forgetting the basics, in order to help my clients reach their fitness goals. With the right motivation and guidance, anyone can make real and positive changes in how they look and feel. It can be tough work, but the rewards are worth it. Whether you would like to lose fat, get stronger, put on muscle, tone up, whatever your fitness needs, come see me. “Ability is what you’re capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it.” –Lou Holtz |
