I believe that fitness is vital for an active, healthy and balanced life. A body that is fit and flexible feels great and it is less prone to injury and illness. I also believe that knowledge is power and I educate my clients not only about the "how" but the "why" of exercise. Proper form and focus on the recruitment of the right muscle groups reaps maximum exercise benefit and safety. As a currently practicing physical therapist with 25 years of experience in orthopedic and sports injuries, I am particularly well-suited to train those who have had an injury or have medical issues. I tailor the workout to correct imbalances, restore strength to the "problem area", improve posture and safely progress the fitness program to achieve my client's goals. |
