Before I began the Boot Camp Challenge this last May I had already ran a marathon. I didn’t know what I would think, but I absolutely love Boot Camp. I like to stay challenged and not get bored with my routine! And I recommend boot camp to anyone no matter your fitness level. - Jessica
I was very active in High School and College Sports, but after 15 years of Life, having Children, being a Wife and Mother, I fell into the same trap as most. Eating out too often and not getting the type of exercise I once enjoyed. I went from a soft Mom, to a Mom that just finished my first 13.1 mile "Half Marathon" last Saturday. I have ran 2 mud obstacle runs and many 5K runs with Matt, Jessica and other boot camp friends. Boot Camp has helped me get ready for my first "Tough Mudder" Run in Austin, Tx which is coming up in October. I enjoy the bond that forms with fellow Boot Campers. I would recommend Boot Camp to anyone who has trouble getting motivated. Stick with it...go to every class you can... you will be surprised at the results. "Hoo Ahh!" - Kara
Gold's Gym Boot Camp Challenge has given me more strength, stamina and accountability to get back to working out and becoming more healthy in mind and body. Being one of the "more mature" members of camp has never been an issue because we are encouraged to work at our own pace, yet push just a little harder each step of the way. It works! BCC members offer encouragement and support and we LOVE our Sergeants! Everyone should experience Gold's Gym Boot Camp Challenge! - Mary
I have worked out on my own before but Boot Camp has given me the discipline to work out consistently and my fellow boot campers help push me to the next level. I love having new friends of all ages to work out with! Boot Camp is not a competitive class as everyone can participate at their own level, but the comaraderie drives me to push beyond my comfort zone. Since June I have lost 5% body fat, 7.25 inches and 8 pounds. And shaved over 1-1/2 minutes off my one mile run! Boot Camp Challenge is now a planned, scheduled event in my life that I don't like to miss. I know that if I can do this you can too! And as Lisa says "Pain is Temporary, Results are Forever!" The class provides me with enough variety that I do not become bored with the workouts. I love the fact that we never repeat the same workouts. Boot Camp is awesome, challenging and it pushes me out of my comfort zone. The Boot Camp Challenge has reignited my motivation for fitness and health. I plan to use this as a conditioning supplement for my training for the Bataan Death March marathon in White Sands, NM and a half ironman next June in Lubbock, TX. I would like to encourage anyone who is looking for something new and challenging to try at least one Boot Camp Challenge, I promise you will get hooked. HOO-AAH! - Christina
My wife first introduced me to the Boot Camp Challenge. At first I was skeptical, thinking it was just another workout class that women took while the real work was out with the free weights. I found myself bored and defiantly not motivated to work out much less go to the gym and throw weights around. The class began and I have been sweating ever since. I now run 5ks, half marathons, and even completed the Bataan Death March. The Tough Mudder was a lot less painful due to the results of Boot Camp. I have lost over seven percent body fat and even look forward to coming to class. My wife and I even started using Gold’s Gym as one of our date nights and weekend dates. Thank you again for the new outlook on life and the motivation to achieve my goals. - Roderick
I joined the 1st Golds Gym Boot Camp this Spring as a way to lose some weight and increase my endurance. I am 51 years old and wanted to compete in a Tough Mudder (12 mile obstacle course) event with my two grown Boys this Fall. I have completed 3 Boot Camps and am on my 4th now. I have lost almost 50 pounds, competed in three mud runs, eight 5K runs and the Central Texas Tough Mudder Event held in Dallas. I will compete in the Austin Tough Mudder this October with my Sons. I needed the structure and motivation that the Boot Camp provides. Getting back in shape is easier when you work out with a group of folks that will soon become your friends. - Matt
