Over 25 Years of History in Myrtle Beach, SC
Gold's Gym has been a part of the Myrtle Beach area since August 30, 1982. It is the spot of one of the first Gold's Gyms on the east-coast, and it was home to the Gold's Classic in the early 1990's. Many celebrities have made Gold's Gym Myrtle Beach a vacation pit-stop to get a feel of "old-school." Such celebrities include; Mary-Lou Retton, Lee Haney, Peyton Manning, Lex Luger, the Steiner Bros, Ric Flair, Montel Jordan, Carrot Top, DMC, the Rockettes, and many more.
Tedd and Nancy Capp purchased the facility from George Johnson and Rick Bramos in 1985 and have made it their legacy ever since. Their devotion to creating a family-like atmosphere that encourages individuals to obtain their personal goals in exercise has truly been an inspiration to many in the Myrtle Beach area and beyond.
Gold's Gym of Myrtle Beach is one of the few facilities that still combines an "old-school" workout mentality with the addition of more modern styles of exercise. Whether your 18-years-old and looking for a place to begin your fitness experience or 81-years-old and looking to knock off a few "years", Gold's Gym of Myrtle Beach is the perfect home-away-from-home gym experience!
And THANK YOU to anyone and everyone that has helped make it possible for Gold's in Myrtle Beach to be a part of this community for a quarter of a century!
