GGX Instructor Spotlight

I love everything about fitness.  I've been self-employed since the age of 15.  Working hard was a quality that was passed on by my mother and father at a very young age.  Living with a six-time world twirling champion and an Olympic boxer did not make life any easier for me.  I needed my claim to fame.  I chose to become a coach that would make a difference.

I started by coaching twirling and developing champions.  During this time, I managed to get married, have four children, and gain an extra 50 lbs!!   After being a mom to four kids under the age of 5, the day finally came when all my boys were attending school.  This is when life started to take a turn.  I joined a gym on the very day my twins entered pre-k and applied the same dedication I was raised with, towards my fitness.

One year later, I had lost 50 lbs and become passionate about fitness.  I found an instructor who delivered passion and care for her members.  She made the difference.  Because she was teaching, I wanted to attend class every day.  Soon, I decided to become an instructor and apply my teaching skills towards group fitness.  I eventually moved on to group fitness director at several facilities and before I knew it, I had shifted a lot of my time towards working in fitness.

Today, I have a full time job in fitness.  I am Nesta Personal Training, AFAA Group Fitness, ESA Personal Training, ESA Sports Nutrition, Water Certified, ESA Group Fitness, Small Stability Ball Pilates, Pilates I and II, Zumba, and ESA Personal Training in Business Certified.  I work with the university, the hospital weight management program, and Golds Gymnasium.

I work a lot...............always have and probably always will.  I have taken, what I love and poured my passion out to my members, clients and friends.  My believe in working at something you love is not an easy one to follow.  Not everyone has the opportunity to make a difference in the fitness life of people and make a living from doing it.

Caring about people and making a difference is not something that can not be learned from one or ten certifications.  It is something that comes from within.  You feel it, members sense it , and the results are priceless.

Passion breads results............we can make a difference.
