Peak Performance is a division of
our training department that specializes in high intensity performance
training. Our focus clientele includes novice
to professional athletes, to weekend warriors.
We provide a structured, goal-oriented environment in a group setting. We pride ourselves on knowledge and
service. Our Sports Performance Coaches
undergo an in-depth certification and education process from our industry's most highly respected organizations, such as NASM and NSCA. We keep our athlete to coach ratio below 10:1
to maintain a positive learning environment.
Philosophy - Train Hard, Train Smart.
We believe in the long-term development of athletes. Progressing young athletes too quickly can cause a premature stunt in growth, chronic injuries, or muscular imbalances which can increase the risk of acute injury. Here at Gold's Gym, our athletes are first rid of any muscular imbalances, chronic injuries, and improper training techniques in order to prevent further risk of injury. Our next step is to build a solid foundation of flexibility, core strength and stability, muscular endurance, and neuromuscular efficiency, which we can then build upon. Our athletes are then safely and effectively taken through speed development and strength training workouts with emphasis on technique. Olympic Lifting, plyometrics, and other high intensity training techniques are used when our athletes achieve a mature training status. Our systematic training programs are both research and field proven. We take the guesswork out of sports performance training.
