Dr. Belisa Vranich, Phy.D

Sports Psychology

As one of the nation’s most prominent psychologists, Dr. Belisa Vranich has an intricate understanding of the role psychology plays in health and fitness. She is widely recognized for her role in health and fitness, particularly within the Hispanic community and was awarded outstanding Latina in health care by El Diario.

Currently, Dr. Vranich is a columnist for the Huffington Post. She was previously the health and sex editor at Men’s Fitness and was a former columnist with the New York Daily News. Dr. Vranich’s expertise has made her a regular guest on outlets such as Good Morning America, CNN’s Anderson Cooper, FOX News and VH1 and has been featured as an expert in hundreds of publications, including the Los Angeles Times, Wall Street Journal, Cosmopolitan, Spin, AARP, Seventeen, Good Housekeeping, and Parenting. She also serves as the Director of Public Education at the Mental Health Association of NYC and as a consultant at the National Mental Health Association in Washington, DC. Dr. Vranich received her doctorate from New York University and her internship was at Bellevue Hospital.
