Personal Trainer, Massage Therapist
Born and raised in Montgomery County Maryland, I, Emily Vahle have sought after my childhood passions of health and fitness and have been enjoying the journey along the way while making my dreams a reality.
I grew up playing sports: softball, basketball, and soccer for the county and in my JHS, HS and college levels. I received my associates degree in Exercise Science, Health Fitness Leadership from Montgomery College where I played on their fast pitch softball team. I then transferred to Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA where I received my Bachelors degree in Kinesiology; Exercise Science. I was involved with intramural volleyball, basketball and softball. While working full time as a personal trainer after I graduated college, I started trade school at Potomac Massage Training Institute in Washington, DC., where I completed by 600 hours and have been current certified and licensed in MD and VA.
I am working as a personal trainer now at Golds Gym and I love training clients. I am certified through NCCPT. I have my own massage practice and travel to client’s homes. I enjoy giving Swedish, deep tissue, connective tissue (facia lengthening) and rachii body work and I do specialty focus work for carpel tunnel syndrome and Qi gong breathing techniques.
I am active in slow pitch softball and play on multiple teams in the spring, summer, and fall seasons.
I also have a beautiful three year old little girl who melts my heart and who is my world.
