My fitness journey began back in college where I earned many honors in Track and Field. I have been actively engaged in exercise for over 10 years and continue to educate myself, as well as my clients and training staff. During my time in college, I was involved in the Strength and Conditioning departments at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. While there, I was instructed to train male and female teams through their strength program and learned a great amount of unique training styles and progressions. This experience has helped me develop my clients into the best they can be safely and effectively.
After college, I continued my Track and Field career by competing as an unattached athlete. I threw discus at the US Track and Field Championships from 2009-2011, then finished off my career by placing 7th at the 2012 US Olympic Trials.
