Mike Young is a graduate of Westminster College where he obtained a degree in Physical Education, with an emphasis in Exercise Science.
During my time there I was a four year student athlete and worked as the Assistant Athletic Trainer. My hands on experience have given me extensive knowledge through exercise physiology and nutrition to help others achieve a healthy lifestyle. Participating in sports and physical activity is something I have always had a passion for and strive to incorporate into the lives of others. I specialize in athletic enhancement and like to integrate plyometrics, strength/power development and agility training into my programs. Helping people accomplish other goals outside of sports enhancement is also important to me, whether its strength gains, weight reduction or lean body mass gains.
Training Philosophy: Making a commitment to provide a service that focuses on the individual and his/her needs. I strive to inspire, support and challenge my clients to feel resilient, confident and to design fitness programs that they truly enjoy. Exercise enhances every aspect of physical and mental wellbeing. Proper exercise with positive motivation leads to an overall sense of individual fulfillment and a healthier lifestyle.
