I’ve always had a passion for health and fitness. As a child, I was in ballet, tap and jazz, which is where I gained an appreciation for movement and staying active. I’ve been involved in group exercise since I was a teenager, starting with kickboxing, spinning, and yoga classes. I love group fitness and want to share my passion for health and wellness, which is why I started teaching in 2013.

What led you to group fitness? I love the group fitness environment and energy. I’m more motivated to push myself in that atmosphere versus exercising alone and it’s more fun to exercise together and you feel like you a part of something.
How do you spend your time outside of the gym? I enjoy meeting new people, investing in myself by learning new things and skills, and being outdoors immersed in nature and appreciating God’s beauty.
Some advice for our GGX class members: Go at your own pace until you build up your stamina. It’s not a competition and just have fun so it doesn’t feel like work.
