1. Use your legs!
If you’ve got working legs, put them to use! Instead of taking the elevator or escalator, use the stairs to get where you need to go! By doing so, you will be adding cardiovascular activity and you will be toning your glute muscles!
2. Get Some Commercial Break Action
Take advantage of the commercial time between your t.v. shows! Instead of sitting there like a bum and drooling on your pillow with a bag of chips in your lap, get up and MOVE! Do some jumping jacks during one commercial break and then try switching it up and doing crunches during the next! Why sit lazily when you can get fit!
3. Skip the White Stuff!
I know, I know. We all love it, but it doesn’t love us back! I promise! Save yourself some fat and calories by saying no to cheese, sour cream, pasta or white breads next time you are out to eat. You will feel lighter instead of so bogged down and heavy when you choose to deny just those few things.
4. Stand Proud!
At work, instead of sitting hunched over in your desk chair, stand up and work! You will burn double the calories standing up and moving around, as opposed to wheeling yourself around the office. Not to mention your back and neck will thank you as well
5. Take Your Lunch!
Studies have shown that people who take their lunch to work from home, have lost more weight than those who eat out or run through a drive through each day. You are limited to your packed lunch instead of impulse buying a bunch of cheap junk come lunch time.
