Come Try our High Intensity Circuit Training
We know how it is. You try to make time to get the gym at least a few times a week. But sometimes life gets in the way and you just don’t have the space in your schedule for an hour (or more) workout. At Gold’s Gym Douglasville-Chapel Hill, we understand. We want to do all we can to help you reach your fitness goals, and that means trying to find ways for you to fit in a good workout in the smallest possible amount of time. And that’s why we have Circuit Training.
Circuit Training is a special way to get in a full body workout in less than 30 minutes. You get both strength and cardio training thanks to this specially designed workout plan. Circuit training has many benefits other than saving time, too. It helps with cardio training thanks to the short “bursts” of energy that you expend while going through the circuit. It increases strength. And it’s particularly effective for people who are looking to lose weight and get better muscle tone — people who circuit train often see results faster than people who stick with standard workout routines.
So what is it? Basically, you follow a set circuit and do quick sets of exercises at each one. Moderate weights and frequent repetitions are they keys of circuit training, and the circuit is set up so that each exercise targets a different muscle group. This creates a full-body workout in one convenient, time-saving step.
It’s important to note that circuit training doesn’t entirely replace cardio training entirely. If you decide to try circuit training — and we hope you do — make sure you get in your regular cardio training workout three times a week.
At Gold’s Gym Chapel Hill, we make it easy for you to try this great new way to work out. Our circuit is set up as an 11 minute circuit — that’s right, just 11 minutes! We have several stations of machines for you to perform your exercises and move quickly to the next step, with short breaks in between. Come in and try it out!
