I started back taking classes with my friend Andrea. She said, “Come try Body combat”. I LOVED IT!!! She then talked me into becoming an instructor. Being shy, I didn’t want anything to do with getting up in front of people but I believed in it so much that I decided I must bring this amazing workout to others. So in 2010 I became a Body Combat instructor and 6 months later I became a Body Pump instructor. Wanting to be able to help people on a more personal level, I then became a personal trainer through AFAA in 2013 and later became nationally board certified through NCCPT in 2014. If that wasn’t enough in April 2014, I became RPM certified and in 2015 became certified in Grit, SB Barre, and Sprint.

Some advice for our GGX class members: On the days that you just feel like you can’t do it anymore, that’s when you need to get to the gym and fight through whatever it is that makes you feel weak. Challenge yourself to step out of your comfort zone and then that fatigue or burn that you feel; that is you getting stronger!
