I’ve been teaching group fitness since 1986. I started at the YWCA teaching Jackie Sorenson Dance Aerobics in Charleston, WV. I was also the Demo Troupe leader for the “Y” and we performed at different events, Health Fairs, Parades, etc. throughout the Kanawha Valley. I moved to Annapolis in 1991 and started teaching Freestyle Step, Muscle Conditioning, Freestyle Aerobics and Group Cycle classes at various clubs in the area. I work full time for Kibby Chiropractic as the Rehab Coordinator in which I design work-out programs to help patients strengthen the weak areas of their body

When I was 22, I discovered Dance Aerobics’ and enjoyed it so much that I wanted to teach. Through the program at the “Y” we got to select our own music and do our own choreography which I really enjoyed and currently do this with my group cycle classes.
How do you spend your time outside of the gym? I enjoy gardening, spending time around the water or beach and relaxing with my friends.
