I graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1990 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. After graduation, I attended flight school in Fort Rucker, AL and flew UH-60 Blackhawks in the Army for 8 years. I left the service after my daughter was born. Nineteen months later I had another baby and started teaching fitness classes in Monterey, CA at a local church. A year later I got certified through AFAA and started teaching at health clubs. I’ve also taught in Kansas, Virginia, New York and now Maryland. While in Virginia, I had a third baby and taught Step and Body Pump classes until 2 weeks before he was born. I can’t say I have a favorite class, because I love all the classes I teach and each one is unique in it’s own way.
