Amanda was born and raised in south central Louisiana. She started dance at the age of three and although she tried a variety of other interests, she always returned to dance and realized it was her true passion. She danced competitively through high school. After graduating, she attended Louisiana State University where she met her future husband. They were married 2 years later and moved to Wyoming where she continued her studies and received her degree. After 19 years of marriage to a military member, she has lived in various places including Colorado Springs, CO, Houston, TX, Montgomery, AL and Crofton, MD. She has 3 kids with her husband and they have found a home in Maryland. Mainly a stay at home mom, she finds time to teach classes at the gym and finds great enjoyment in teaching dance to the next generation. Her hope is to bring her passion and love for dance and exercise into the lives of everyone that she teaches.
