Sports and physical activity have always been a huge part of my life. However, injuries have plagued me since high school. After gaining weight and losing muscle mass from my first knee surgery in 2010, I decided it was time for a change. I began to make exercise and healthy eating my lifestyle. Around the same time, I also became fascinated with the Greek Ideal while studying History and Philosophy of Sport at Colorado Mesa University. This concept emphasizes a perfect mind, body, and spirit of an individual, and I use it as motivation to better myself as well as my clients. Although no one is ever perfect, I believe the effort required to reach perfection makes any other goal, no matter how difficult, an attainable goal. I love to show creativity in my workouts, and I enjoy challenging and encouraging my clients to push past their physical as well as mental boundaries. After obtaining my Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science at Colorado Mesa University, exercise has become an even bigger passion of mine. I’m constantly eager to further my knowledge in order to share this passion with others. Currently, I am applying for physical therapy school and taking Smartfitness classes online along with being a full-time personal trainer.
