Q: How do I cancel my membership?
A: You may cancel your membership at the gym or mail a certified letter to our headquarters at 3550 Barron Way, Suite 5A Reno, NV. 89511.
Q: Why did I get billed 2 weeks after I submitted my request to cancel?
A: Any bill dates you have within 30 days of submission will be the last billing for your membership under your agreement’s 30‐day notice requirement.
Q: How can I update my billing information?
A: You may update your billing information in person, at the gym, or contact the billing department by calling 800-595-9147.
Q: How do I freeze my membership?
A: You may fill out a Membership Change Form at the gym to freeze your membership.
Q: Is there a referral reward if I refer my friends?
A: Absolutely! If you refer a friend and he or she signs a one or two-year membership, you get a free month!
Q: May I make a payment in advance at the gym?
A: Yes, please be sure to pay at least 3 days before your designated billing date.
Q: Who do I contact if I cancelled, but I still continue to get charged?
A: Please contact your gym for resolution or contact headquarters at 1-800-595-9147.
Q: I want to cancel my membership, but I am still in obligation. What forms of relocation do you accept to release me from my agreement?
A: If you are cancelling your membership to Gold’s Gym in Charlottesville due to medical disability we will need valid proof of a Doctor’s note. If you are cancelling for military we will need military orders. If you are relocating we will need one of the following to prove you have relocated more than 35 miles from one of our locations:
• Valid Driver’s License issued within the past 60 days
• Lease Agreement or proof of purchase of house
• Utility Bill
• Cable Bill
• Phone Bill
• Voter’s Registration Card
• Proof of Car Insurance
• Pay Stub
Q: How do I obtain a copy of my Gold’s Gym Charlottesville usage or payment history?
A: You will need to obtain this at your gym. A valid driver’s license will need to be shown & the member must sign a release form to release this document. These documents will only be issued to the member.
Q: I did not realize my agreement auto renewed after my obligated term. Who do I need to contact to discuss this?
A: You may contact our Charlottesville gym to receive a copy of your agreement. You will need to show proof of your driver’s license and will need to sign the document release form for a copy of your agreement. On the terms of the agreement, it discusses the dues renewal of your membership agreement. You may also contact headquarters by calling 1-800-595-9147.
